The cover of the fifth volume Ino Head Gargoyle (a spinoff of GTO) announced that manga creator Tohru Fujisawa will launch a GTO spinoff. The series will launch in Kodansha's Young Magazine in April.

Young Magazine serialized Ino Head Gargoyle until Fujisawa ended the first part in January. The magazine revealed that Fujisawa will begin a new manga this spring. It did not specify if the new manga is the next part of Ino Head Gargoyle or a brand new series.

So yeah. Could be Glory Hole part 2, or an entirely new manga set in the GTO universe. Either way, it's good news, right?

We need a spin-off that focuses on the students of Holy Forest Academy!

Just a guess but perhaps its this Red Data Planet thing that is supposed to be coming out, and it's somehow related to GT-R...? The girl in the Red Data Planet image that was available looks awfully similar to Mimon from GT-R...

So judging by the title, it's not so much a spin-off as it is a new GTO manga like S14D. If so.... YYYEEEESSS!!!!!

The title really has me curious though. Wonder what it'll be about.

Paradise Lost....? Maybe he loses his job? Maybe the school burns down? It could mean many things. Either way this is exciting.

Spoiler:
Too bad we won't see it licensed in 10 years

A new GTO in Young Magazine!! Interesting! That means that we'll probably be getting more risque material

Intriguing, isn't it? I wonder if this will take place after the end of the original GTO. Will there be a time skip? Will he still be teaching the same students? Will it take place at the same school or a new setting entirely? Will it tie into S14D somehow? So many possibilities...

I think it's got a pretty fair chance of getting licensed by Vertical, considering S14D did fairly well for them and the fact that they're owned by Kodansha.

Was Ino-Head Gargoyle significantly more risque than the Weekly Shonen Magazine GTO's? In any case, it's quite interesting that GTO is moving into another magazine. Aiming for older fans perhaps?

Another thing; shouldn't a new GTO warrant a new section of the forums? Or if that seems like overkill at this point, at least converting the S14D forum into a joint S14D/Paradise Lost forum? I mean, once this thing starts we've got to have a place to discuss it...

I vote for merging the forum S14D with Paradise Lost.

Ino-Head was quite a bit more risque I'd say. I mean we had boobs show up in every other chapter, and a hell of a lot of sexual references, some of which were kind of messed up lol. Violence wise, I don't really know. Perhaps it wasn't that much more extreme.

My guess is the move to the more mature magazine has something to do with Kodansha recognising most of the people who were fans of GTO are now probably all grown up, and it may be more lucrative to appeal to this older die-hard generation of fans instead of than trying to target a new, younger generation again. And I'm not just talking about fans of the original GTO here either, but when you think about it all of those kids who were in junior high school when S14D came out would now be over 18 too.

Hopefully this at least gets translated. Pissed that I can't read Ino Head or GTR.

BL is on to something. When I started watching GTO I was like 15. Now I'm 27.

So looks like Onizuka's going to prison guys.

"Onizuka Eikichi, imprisoned."

"From now on prison teacher Onizuka goes under the name PTO, YOROSHIKU."

HOOOOOLY shit. Wonder if that's just a part of the storyline, or if that's the premise of the entire manga? Wait, how is he gonna be a teacher in prison? Do they have schools in prison??
