Awesome! You should show him GTO, maybe he will try to be more like him!

School must be fun with teachers like that!

In this magic place, it's ok to revive topics. 8)

Well, that science teacher is not like Onizuka, then. Onizuka may not know the subject he's teaching, but he sure as hell is putting a smile at all the students faces and making their childhood a good one. <3

I've got one. He was born in Poland but was livin' in USA for 13 years and I've been with him only for three months or something. He was my teacher in the second class of ... i have no idea how to call it in english, but i was 18 back then. The class year before the matural exam.

He was great. He was my "homeroom teacher" (we choose them in our school, you pick the one you want) and he left back to USA last month. But we went to beer together (sitting on the railroad tracks and talking about everything), we were playing guitars and singing, watching dvds of nick cave and listening to music on the lessons. I never had so much fun at school as in these days..

I haven't got a teacher exactly like Onizuka but mine is pretty unique in her own hilarious and quirky way...she was my history teacher and when we were doing the French Revolution she would try and bring in contemporary examples for us ranging from Justin Bieber (I'm not really sure how she came up with that one) to Gaddafi. Then she would randomly tell us miscellaneous things eg. when there were rumours aout her being a prostitute circulating the school or how to detect the symptoms of syphilis or how Diderot was such man-whore. Class was basically her talking and us nodding our head mostly in bewilderment and confusion...and sometimes she spoke so passionately that she would have an asthma attack. A lovely teacher all in all

Hahaha, what am I reading? Man, we need more teachers like that. If kids are having fun when they learn stuff, they will remember it easier!

Btw, welcome to the forums! ;D

Lolz, that sounds like fun. I had a math teacher like that, he would teach us maths by multiplying cars and subtracting biscuits
