Looks like were going to have to make a SJG manga, anime, and drama soon...

Speaking of drama, i know there was one for SJG but i found a trailor for a second one and im guessing you guys already know about that but i though i would just mention it since not a lot of talk is had about the drama.

BTW, is SJG drama as good as the GTO one?

I've seen the raw of the first Shonan Junai Gumi drama, and from what I can tell, it looks low budget and I personally don't think its as good as the GTO drama. The GTO drama also has more famous actors.

The SJG drama probably has better fight scenes though. Also, it is MUCH closer to the original manga than the GTO drama is.

Hmm I'm not sure if they'll be enough to talk about in each section that's all... Things are looking a bit messy at the moment though.

As for the drama... It is pretty low budget. Also I'm afraid it doesn't stick to the story very well either. Like the anime it tries to cram a lot into each volume, infact it's often worse than the anime in that regard. Characters and events are altered pretty harshly in majority of the volumes. For example the storylines are covered like this:

Volume 1:
The First arc (Ayumi and Mariko) combined with the Fumiya arc

Volume 2:
The Nanno/Katsuyuki/Takezawa arcs all combined into one

Volume 3:
The Midnight Angels arc

Volume 4:
The Natsu arc (Well... if you can still call it the Natsu arc without Kamata being in the show at all)

Volume 5:
The Atsukiyagyou arc combined with the Kadena arc (dont ask me how they pulled this off)

Also fight scenes... Sorry but they're not so great either. Expect crap, often cartoony sound effects and fake-looking acting... Although the Atsukiyagyou hand carving was done alright. Blood. Yay

Anyway. Even all that said, hell, it's still Shonan Junai Gumi.

Thats a shame to hear, well not knowing anything about most of the arcs you talked about, ill just have to make sure to see ALL the manga before any of the Drama...
